comparison last seen since
He's still very good, ... He's still better than good. But in comparison to last year, that's what I've seen since the end of last season.
becomes challenge kinds
He's just different. He does those kinds of things, and it becomes a competition. He's going to challenge you.
block explain game gets softball
How do you explain that game? That was like a softball game where everyone on the block gets to play.
crazy houston wonderful
Houston will go crazy and it will be a wonderful thing.
ball hits putting
He's putting the ball in play the other way. When he does that, he hits well.
fortunate works
He's puffed up pretty good. I think he'll be able to play on Friday. We're fortunate to have the off-day tomorrow. That works well.
ball game stayed
I don't know how we stayed in the ball game as long as we did.
bats pitching today
I don't know how much of that was their pitching today and how much was we didn't get the bats on the ball,
attacks definitely difference gives level noise perhaps roof zone
I don't know if there's a difference in approach, but there's definitely a difference in what he does here. He attacks the zone much better here. He has in the past. ... Perhaps the noise level here, with the roof closed, is what gives him a big plus.
leg
I didn't know how his leg was going to be, ... He said it was OK, but you never know when he hasn't pitched in 11 days. He was masterful today.
came chavez couple good healthy job looked past terrible winter
Chavez has done a good job in the past and so has Quintero. He came down with a couple of strains, and he came down with appendicitis, which was a terrible thing to go through, but he's healthy now and having a good spring. Hector didn't play winter ball, but he's looked fundamentally sound.
both cecil good guys hopefully winter
Cheo, he's managed in winter ball, and I think he'd like to have some consideration. And both guys are good guys and all that. Hopefully Cheo and Cecil will be in consideration. I think Cecil will make a good manager.
guys prepared whatever worked
Hopefully, that will get worked out and whatever happens, we'll be prepared to go with it. I don't think it's going to have anything to do with how guys are going to go about their business.
exactly pitch
He tolerated it pretty well. That's exactly want we wanted him to do, the 40-50 pitch range.
