game greatest sequel
I think there's going to be a sequel on it; this is going to be the greatest game ever played,
again call eat
I said, 'You look at it again and you'll see you're wrong,' ... He said, 'I will look at it.' I'll have to call him and tell him he was right. I'll have to eat a little crow.
came carried last mike preference stretch wonderful year
I think Mike Gallo did a wonderful when he came back from Triple-A last year and carried us down the stretch as the only lefthander. It would be my preference to have two lefties, but that's not set in stone.
bit trying
Oh, I'm just trying to get through tonight. We'll think about that a little bit later. Right now, I don't know what we'll do on Saturday.
chris couple generate offence past triple trying whatever
Chris got more big hits. That triple was an icebreaker. We've been trying to find some way to generate offence the past couple of weeks, done whatever we can.

ball breaking fifth fourth high himself innings point release trying zone
I thought in the fourth and fifth innings he really battled himself trying to find his release point and got high in the zone and couldn't get the breaking ball where he wanted to.
count trying
I'm not trying to keep anything from you. You just don't count him out.
again badly beaten celebrate change matter pride
They have beaten us up pretty badly this year. It's just a matter of pride that we wouldn't want to see them celebrate again here. We'd like to change that.
aggressive change demeanor early maybe saw strike third
In the first part of spring, he was tentative. Then, I thought maybe his third start, he started going right after hitters. He started really being aggressive in the strike zone. Early in the spring, and it could be because he was just getting into shape, but he was middling too much. I saw a change in his demeanor and his results.
ball decent fastball gets location outcome pitches plate sharp showing swayed throw
I'm necessarily swayed by the outcome more than by what he does with his pitches. If he's showing pretty decent location with his ball and he's able to throw his pitches over the plate and use something other than his fastball when he gets behind, that will be good. He was sharp today, he went right after hitters.
ball fastball guy nice primarily stayed threw
He threw the ball really well and had a pretty nice fastball that he located pretty good, and he just stayed with it. It was an usually pitched game. You don't see a guy use primarily fastballs, but he was locating it where he wanted to and he stayed with it.
job super
He was dominating. He did a super job for us.
bat came guys hand hole morgan moved pitch position prefer swinging switched third turned
I moved him for Morgan. When he came back from the hand injury, I wanted him in a position where guys are going to have to pitch to him and he's going to get pitches. I switched him back because I didn't think he was swinging the bat that good. I prefer to have Lance in that third hole and as it turned out today, Morgan came through big.
