Rafael Chaveswas the pitching coach of the Seattle Mariners in 2006 and 2007. Chaves was also the pitching coach for the Scranton/Wilkes-Barre Yankees, the New York Yankees' Triple A team. He was the Los Angeles Dodgers minor pitching coordinator from 2008-2013 and a special assistant for player personnel in 2014. I thought he was the pitcher he can be during those innings. He was nails after the beginning.

He did OK, but he wasn't throwing great. Still, with his successes in the past, you want to have a guy like him if you can. So we brought him in and he's throwing much better now. He's coming around.
