There is still this fear of voting for something that gives legal status even after you earn it--that it's going to be called 'amnesty.
I pitch and my teammates expect us to win and for me to put us in a position to win, and I didn't do that. My slider found too much of the middle of the plate. I didn't have a sharp one going down and away. Unfortunately, my pitches were elevated today, and I paid the price.
Honestly, I've never thought much about that. It's nice to know. Maybe we should start the season in September next year.
I don't think people give Pacific enough credit. We knew they had talent and our goal, defensively, was to stop Richardson.
The results will be higher income and property tax.

Everything's fine. Everything's good. It's early in the year.
Seventeen wins is good, but I expect more this year. I want to show people I still have the stuff.
Don't get in my face, ... I don't care who you are. Don't get in my face.
I don't ignore it. I know that if I do my job, it can help a lot of different areas. Maybe I can take some stress off the bullpen, maybe I can take some pressure off the other starters and maybe I can help the offense relax a little bit. I know all that. And I don't mind that.
It's just a matter of let's work together and get the job done because the bottom line is winning ballgames.
It's frustrating. We're in the heat of the pennant race, and I feel good. To pitch like that but then have one inning, that's frustrating. I was cruising along the first three innings, then you saw what happened.
It was basically a matter of a feel thing. It wasn't getting work in. It was just to get the feel of what you want to accomplish, and I got that in 35 pitches.
