I'm not a guy that looks at the big picture that often. If I start thinking about it, this could be an awesome opportunity for me. But I think it's a lot better for me and the team if I look at it one game at a time. There are a lot of things you can't control.
I had three weeks to prepare for one game. You'd like to think when you have the opportunity to prepare for three weeks, I could go out and make some big saves. The other guy outplayed me. I feel accountable to the other guys. We're fighting for first place. It's disappointing.
It great to see the guys come up and fill the spots.
The boys actually got a bit more talkative between the second and third. It was pretty quiet at the start and then the guys started saying, 'We've got to do this,' and, 'We've got to start playing with a bit more desperation.' It was exciting to see it because we talked about it and we actually went out and did it.
I thought we were flying out there. That magic that a lot of these guys have, you could see it ... when we got chances, we buried them.
I'm as competitive as they come. I was well aware that the Big Guy (Dominik Hasek) was 3-0 and I wanted to do my part, too.
(The shutout) is exciting too because I haven't had one in a long time. We played really well and buried some chances we had and limited their scoring chances. I just want to win games and hopefully I'll get more opportunities to do so.

It sure will be nice to get back to our own beds for a few nights.
I just kept sliding back into the net. You squeeze your knees to try and stop and brace yourself. It's frustrating.
I'm assuming they haven't played every period like that this year. They were flying. They definitely sent a message.
I squeezed my legs together and I could feel the puck there, but my momentum took me back into the net. I tried to pop it out, but I guess I crossed the line with my knees.
By their reaction and the referee calling it right away, I thought it was in. I'll take it. It's a good bounce, for sure. Luck was on our side tonight.
I don't want to get ahead of myself. I'm excited to get a chance to play, but I'm taking it one step at a time.
