I thought it was a playoff-type game, and we played pretty well. Like I've said before, I've got to come up with some more saves.
We've got them in a position where we know our best chance to put them away is at home. We played a strong game. We didn't have our best start, but we played solid -- especially in the third.
I don't think we played well in the third period, but I've got to be better. I've got to come up with some big saves.
(The shutout) is exciting too because I haven't had one in a long time. We played really well and buried some chances we had and limited their scoring chances. I just want to win games and hopefully I'll get more opportunities to do so.

I'm assuming they haven't played every period like that this year. They were flying. They definitely sent a message.

I don't know if we had high hopes for tonight or not but we wanted to win. I don't want to take anything away from them. They played really well and finished us off at the end.

I think he was a little surprised the puck came right out to him. He had to take a step back before he could shoot, and I was able to get more set for the shot.
It didn't bother them -- they live way out in the country, man. My dad couldn't believe I got paid $500 to eat it. He works at the steel mill back home. He makes that in a week.
