Rich Herrinis a college basketball coach at Morthland College. He was head coach of the Southern Illinois University Salukis men's basketball team from 1985 to 1998. When you can shoot the ball like we did early, and you get off to a good start, good things are going to happen. We got good, balanced scoring from Kendrick (12), Simmons, Allen, and Childers (9) and we benefited from some good, easy buckets.

We didn't cover the three and all we had to do was put a hand in their face and make them put it on the floor.

We started so good and then we relaxed a little bit and they played very aggressive. They're a good ball club. We'd have sure liked to win two and we didn't get it done, but at least we're playing and having some fun.

I believe this is the best ballgame that Mike Simmons has played. I was glad to see him run the court and get a couple baskets. He is gaining confidence and when you gain confidence, other players gain confidence in him.
