answer ask care
I can't answer that question. You'll have to ask them. ... I know the ones who care and I think I know the ones who don't.
fan might oh throw
Oh my, ... If you're going to give up a homer, you might as well give it up like that. That was a long one. The fan couldn't even throw it back on the field.
guys proves
I don't have to have a lefty. If one of these guys comes in and proves he can do the job, then good, that's a bonus.
allowing best breaking eventually hit outfield protect slowly
I want to protect him the best I can and we'll go from there. He's doing the drills and he's doing fine, but I don't want to kill him. I think breaking him in slowly by allowing him to hit and then eventually getting him into the outfield is the right thing to do.
ate guy shut throwing totally
Their guy totally shut us down. A big, tall guy throwing sliders and sinkers. He totally ate us up.
hitting later quite start sure
If everything comes back OK, then he will start hitting later in the week. Right now we're not quite sure where he's at.
chased chasing few trying
Now we are trying to get back up there and see if we can get back in the playoffs, so we're chasing them. They chased us for a few years and we're chasing them right now.
decision
I don't know what to tell you. We're going to try to make a decision here about what's best.
andy concern individual pitchers pitches talking themselves watches
Andy watches it all the time, now we're talking to individual pitchers about doing it. They do go watch it when they come out of the games. They watch themselves a lot. It's not so much a concern about tipping pitches but making better pitches.
baseball determine far left looked people plan played spring
How much baseball he has left in him, that's what we'll determine in spring training. As far as going to Plan B, that's not something I've looked at yet. But we've got people here who've played over there before.
busted talked
He busted his butt down the line. He was out. Shannon probably talked a little too much. It's frustration.
five innings less pitches plays ugly
He was up a little bit, 75 pitches in less than five innings is getting up there. He battled OK, but we had some ugly plays out there.
bench driving good healthy wants
That was good enough for me. He wants to play. It's frustrating for him not to play. It was driving him crazy. On the bench in Chicago, he was going nuts. Hopefully, we can get him healthy and keep him on the field.
fire guy stick wonder worried
Sometimes I wonder -- if you just take a guy and stick him in the fire -- if it's the right thing to do. Let him come up here, play here and there, get some confidence. He's not worried if he's going to play every day.
