arguing ball catch great job looked pitcher pitchers start turned wood
Their pitcher was aware. Wood did a great job there. Most pitchers would catch the ball and start arguing with the umpire. He was very aware. He turned around looked home. He did a great job on that play.
ballgame truth
Disappointing ballgame for us, ... I really don't know what to say about it, to tell you the truth.
ballgame
Take him out of the ballgame in this series, with what's been going on around here, that's not easy.
ballgame truth
Disappointing ballgame for us. I really don't know what to say about it, to tell you the truth.
balls home hurt last needed ourselves pitching runs strong throwing type
Last season, we hurt ourselves on the relays throwing home and balls getting through the infield. We just can't give away runs with this pitching staff. It's too good. So we needed that type of strong defense.
balls bats half position season spring start
He told me they didn't play him at all in a position in Spring Training, and then they get to the season and half way through they start him in the outfield. We just need to get him out there so he can see balls off bats and try to get him acclimated.
balls fall fine hits hopefully last lucky past quite run wherever year
Lew is fine wherever you put him. He's going to play like Lew, he's going to hustle, run balls out and hopefully some of his balls will fall in. Last year he wasn't as lucky as he had been the year before. A lot of times hits will go down to being lucky, and this past year he wasn't quite as lucky.
ball bit good rough swinging swings time tomorrow
He's having a little bit of a rough time swinging right now, and we'll see if he can put some good swings on the ball tomorrow and go from there.
ball barely bothered hardly knew walk wear
It didn't look good. He could barely walk and he told me the brace really bothered him. You never knew if he was going to wear that brace all the time or if he was going to get out of it. He was killing the ball at the plate, but he could hardly get to first base.
anybody ball catch definitely effort fingers hit month pitch pointing team total ways work year
This is only the first month of the year here and we have a long ways to go, but we definitely have a lot of work to do. We have to pitch better; we have to hit better, and catch the ball better -- the whole package. That's why there can't be anybody pointing fingers in here, because it's a total package. We need an effort by the whole team to get better.
baker ball games threw
Baker threw the ball great. He pitched very well in some big games.
ball fans good heaven minnesota painful puck sure time tough twins
It's a tough time for everyone. I'm sure Minnesota Twins fans are hurting. It's very painful right now. But the good thing is that we all know where Puck is going to be -- he's going to be up in heaven whacking the ball around.
ball catch guys middle
They're very quick. When those guys in the middle catch the ball like that, that's pretty good.
ball run
You don't run that ball out, you have to come out of the ballgame.
