five game potent power score six stay
We've got, I think, a very potent power play. All indications are it (the calls) should stay the same -- and we'll get five or six opportunities a game and we're going to have to score at least one.
beat complete effort five guys last looked move next opposite six team throw tonight
This was the opposite of the last game. They had five guys missing, and tonight it looked like we did, too. Five or six guys missing. You need a complete team effort to beat a team like Detroit, especially here, and we didn't get it. So we'll just throw it away and move on the next one.
dangerous five goals picked plays power since teams threaten tonight
Tonight was kind of an anomaly. You're not going to threaten teams with five power play goals. Since we picked up Joe, though, we've had one of the most dangerous power plays in the league.
five guys seemed six tonight
Tonight it seemed like we had five or six guys missing.
break certainly five games great last potential signs six work
It's kind of like a mustang or stallion that you have to break -- you see all this potential but it's kind of wild. I think he is still a work in progress, but he's certainly showed a lot of great signs the last five or six games he's played.
against complaints-and-complaining five hand knew next penalties point row threw
We got the upper hand quick, they did a lot of complaining and the next thing you know, we have five penalties in a row against us and it threw us off our rhythm. From that point on, you never knew what was going to be a penalty.
breaks couple early joe might pipe provided shot time
I think that first shot that Joe clanked off the pipe might have shaken them up a little bit. He provided a spark, but for the first time in a while we got a couple of breaks early in the game.
fearing man people though totally
People are fearing him now, and that's what you want to see with Joe. He's a man on a mission. . . . Even though he's not getting points, he's totally controlling the game.
bump bury dominated game hit minutes move talked
We dominated the game for 35 minutes and we should have been up 4-, 5-, or 6-0. We talked before the game if we hit a bump in the road, we'd just bury it and move on.
finally last skaters totally
We finally had 18 skaters totally committed. The last two games, I couldn't say that.
bounce handed happens points puck stick stuff
We handed two points away. That's a shame. We had the puck on our stick and didn't get the puck out of our zone. When stuff like that happens at this point of the season, it's inexcusable. But we'll bounce back.
game goal next run table toughest
Our goal is to run the table here. The toughest game is always the next one you're going to play.
bail call constantly game kept slow
Our goalie kept us in the game early. We started out a little slow in the first period, but once we got our legs, we were OK. It's a wake-up call when your goalie has to constantly bail you out.
bumped continues fine issues movements sharp traffic
Physically, he's fine right now and his movements are sharp and crisp, but again, getting bumped into or the traffic issues continues to be a distraction for him.
