learn
We have a lot to learn from this game, ... We'll get back and get better.
beginning couple great guard matt missed moving natural pocket ryan snaps spring
We have two new tackles, big guys. That pocket is not going to compress as much. And moving Ryan put him at a more natural position. He's done a great job. A couple of snaps at the beginning of the spring were a little off, but he hasn't missed a call. Moving Matt to guard has made him a little more comfortable.
anybody ourselves until worry
We have to worry about us. We can't worry about anybody else until we get ourselves fixed.
came exactly
We didn't come here just to play. We came here to try to win. And that's exactly what I did.
against coach college football game honor privilege
What he's done for the game of college football is unbelievable, ... It is an honor and privilege to coach against him.
miss
We'll be fine. We won't miss a beat.
deserves guy tail
If a guy is working his tail off, he deserves to be in there.
anyone feeling
I don't want anyone feeling down in the dumps. I think we are going to be competitive in the Big Ten. But we still have to go out and do that.
question tim
I don't think you say quarterback is the only place to upgrade. If we're competitive in the (Big Ten), there's no question that Tim will be improved.
improve needs tim upgrade
I don't think you can say quarterback is the only place we need to upgrade to be competitive. Tim is going to be improved, and he'll be the first to tell you he needs to. You can only go so fast. To say Tim is the only one who needs to improve is not fair.
believe examples hung last ourselves situations strides winning
I don't think it's done, but we've had some examples where we feel we've made some strides in that regard, ... Winning is a habit. Unfortunately, so is losing. ... We've put ourselves in some situations the last two ballgames that you don't necessarily want to be in, but yet they hung in there, so I've got to believe some of it's getting through.
extremely great strides stronger
He's done everything I thought he would do at this point. He's extremely fast. He's made great strides at getting stronger and bigger.
coaches intact job maybe period record runs says staff stay three until
He's done an unbelievable job with their program. When you go back and you look, up until just maybe two three years ago, his staff was pretty much intact for such a long period of time. To me, that really says a lot. You look at the record and you can see what he's done, but when you see coaches that stay there for a long period of time, I think it says a lot about the way he runs the program.
balls confident continue couple fall improved last missed threw
He missed a couple balls out there. You want to see him be a little more accurate. He threw some behind, but he will continue to get better. He's better than he was last fall and I feel confident that he has improved from the fall.
