pop step
We kind of had a pop to our step most of the game.
basic expect few floor run
We just expect a few basic things. We need him to defend, rebound, run the floor -- same things we've always needed. He's got to be able to find a way to get that done for us.
focus move talked
We just talked about it with the guys; we want to move up. That's what we'll keep our focus on now.
ball defense driving finally kindness near picked quarter start third waited
We just waited too long to start playing. We kind of just sleepwalked through 2 1/2 quarters. Then near the end of the third quarter we finally started getting aggressive. We started driving the ball and our defense picked up.
looked
We just looked out of it. We looked out of it most of the night.
burned tried whenever
Whenever I've tried it, he's burned us. But it would be on the table.
active defense field game goals obviously second win won
To win a game where we only make 12 field goals in the second half, obviously our defense is good. I thought we were very active and it won the game for us.
definitely figure fully trying utilize
We are still trying to figure out how to fully utilize him. He is definitely a multidimensional player.
comeback finish games march quite wednesday win worried
We're not worried about where we are. We were 10 games under .500 in March and that would be quite a comeback if we win on Wednesday (and finish 41-41).
plays took
We took them down to the end. We had our opportunities. We just weren't able to make the big plays when they were necessary.
against aggressive anyone felt great halftime halves league playing points poorer quality quite second team win
We kind of felt at halftime it was one of our poorer halves in quite a while. But it was a great second half for us. We were much more aggressive defensively and had at least 25 points off turnovers. It was a quality win against a team playing as well as anyone in the league right now.
beach guys money situations sort south time trust
We try to keep it reasonable. It's not necessarily that we don't trust our guys. We don't trust other people. We want to keep our guys out of situations where something (negative) can happen. I sort of look at it that, if you want to come to South Beach and have some fun, you have the money to do it in the summertime. Now is not the time for that.
came deserved half hard lost played playing shame somehow
This would have been a real shame if somehow we would have lost it at the end after playing as hard as we played. In the first half we played really well, but we were tied. We came out and played hard and well and deserved to win.
game next question regular season
The question we had is what if this was regular season and a back-to-back? You would know before the next game so why does it take so long?
