It's always even more special when we can audible and we're making shifts as the game is going.
I'd take a Super Bowl victory and just a bit of Paul Allen's money.
It's not a denial thing. It's not like it's not happening. But, to me, you have got to play football first. We're not trying to be financial guys, accountants or businessmen. We're football players. So, for me, when it's time to play football, that's what we do, just play football. Business and money and contracts all take care of themselves.
The way I always looked at MVPs was it was a player that did really, really good on a really, really good team. That is why I am even more excited about this year because I have put together some great numbers but we have a great team.
I definitely reacted more excited than Mack did. I'm jumping up and down and screaming and pumping my fists. I think I started the wave in there.
I was going all out and whatever happens happens. It's football. No one is ever 100 percent. I was good enough to play.
They weren't trying to make bad calls, but they did. At the same time, we had chances. I don't blame anybody. If you get to blaming, you'll find ways to lose.
I told some of the guys before the game that playing aggressive and playing with passion is a choice. I said that everybody should make the choice today.
You continue to give us the ball on the ground, and Mack's going to pretty much wear them down. After a while, we're going to break some runs. That's just how our offense is. But it just didn't turn out that way.
It's always good to win a game that you're down, win games that you should win. Our last drive was 93 yards. That's what championship teams do. We know that, and we're doing that.
Mike said we will always be the other team. Even though they are a sixth seed, they're the pick over us. We win 11 in a row, and they say it's our fault the other teams weren't as good. We can't worry about it. We just got to go out and play.
I love my wife and she was knocked out, so I was cleaning at 2 o'clock this morning. It's just a fun time. I'm so proud of everybody in this organization right now. We have a true family atmosphere where everybody is doing whatever it takes for us to win and keep going. It's fun.
I told Clinton I want him to rush for 2,000 yards. And I want our team to go to the Super Bowl and win it. I've been there and not won it. It's really simple for me. You get stats, fame and fortune, but if you don't end up with the ring you're never satisfied.
I think the crowd did a great job at the end.
