I love my wife and she was knocked out, so I was cleaning at 2 o'clock this morning. It's just a fun time. I'm so proud of everybody in this organization right now. We have a true family atmosphere where everybody is doing whatever it takes for us to win and keep going. It's fun.
I kind of put them in everybody's locker and then took off.
I'm just getting better every week, and I'm really excited about where I am right now. I do the same thing I do every year. I haven't changed one bit. I can't even give a good, juicy story. It's been the same.
I never really thought I could be with another team. But it was neat to be with the Carolina guys.
I never really thought about whether it could be done or not, because awards are exciting but they're not the end-all, be-all. Being 13-3 was a goal for us ... Those all come with setting the first goal, which is being good.
I'm not used to losing. It's always hard to lose. It's disappointing. You have to give Pittsburgh credit. You don't miss the plays that often without somebody making you.
I really don't pay attention, because I don't really ever watch the news or anything like that.
I don't really listen to talk. Usually, when people talk they get my linemen upset, and after a while, they stop.
By halftime, you're saying, shoot, (if I lose) I'm going to be owing money to be here. That's when it cranks up a little bit.
I'm feeling blessed. I didn't think that I would be able to heal that fast. At halftime, I thought it was amazing how healthy I was mentally.
I let Mack (Strong) beat up on people, and I run behind him. That's going to work. It doesn't matter what other teams do, it's always going to work.
I made a couple of phone calls and spread the word -- the first 15 family members that call me for tickets get to go. The tickets weren't around too long.
It was an emotional roller coaster - going from Christmas, then your aunt dies, and then all the stats come out and you might get all these records. I've been asked, 'How do you feel' Tired. I'm really blessed we do have this week off where I can kind of grab a hold back to reality.
Everyone knows me and my wife's story. We didn't have sex until we got married.
