plays
How much he plays is still in question.
deal fear hungry people plays
I want him to make people afraid. I want to put fear into them. If he's hungry and plays with some attitude, ain't too many people who are going to deal with him. ...
attention continued defense details emphasis finishes grown guys impressive kicking mentally pay physically plays saw spring standpoint team technique tough understand work younger
The most impressive thing about our team right now is that we understand our schemes. We've been in it two years now, and the younger guys have grown up in our systems, and they understand what we're doing from a technique standpoint on offense, defense and in the kicking game. One big emphasis of the spring was that we really wanted to pay attention to details and do the little things right. We continued to work on being physically and mentally tough and on being a team that finishes plays and plays physical football. I think you saw that out there today.
alone beat passing plays
If (Burks) plays up to his abilities, that alone is going to make us better in the passing game. In this offense, if you don't have receivers, you're not going to beat anyone.
acted
He just acted like it wasn't a factor, ... He didn't let it be a factor.
offensive system
The offensive system is what it is, and it is never going to change,
georgia might players sign state tech
They've got so many players in the state of Georgia that Georgia and Georgia Tech can't sign them all. They might as well let us have some.
next step
The next step is, you don't play. It's going to end one way or another.
guns improvement
I thought we got better every day defensively. And we made improvement offensively. We had some big guns out most of the spring.
kicked worried
I'm not worried about him. If he was a freshman, maybe. But he's kicked in games.
competitor goes intense knack mistakes time turning
He is an intense competitor and he has a knack for making plays, even turning his mistakes into positives. I think he'll get even better as time goes on.
penalties
Sometimes we didn't play smart, and we had penalties. Sometimes we got penalties after the play was over. I have to get that corrected; that's on me.
halfway increases pass run rush speed
It really increases our speed in the pass rush and still allows us to play the run halfway decent.
punch
There's not a day where he just comes out to punch a clock.
