Timothy Henry "Tim" Henman OBEis a retired English professional tennis player. Henman played a serve-and-volley style of tennis. It is very disappointing for me, I was playing really well all week. But the points got longer and longer, with lots of play from the baseline, and my back was just hurting more and more.

It's ironic, ... In 2003 I had been ill and arrived here Sunday and won the tournament. This year I had 2 1/2 weeks of great training, doing a lot of physical work. I didn't play badly and lost.

It's not easy coming back from a long lay-off but it was great to be back playing. It was my first time back here since I won in 2003. I had great preparation and I've been hitting the ball well in practice, but at the level we are playing at results are the bottom line.
