I think it was a distraction because a lot of people let it be one. But I think guys were drained to a point where every day you look on TV and see something going on as far as 81 and Donovan or 81 and the organization. People got tired of looking at it.

After five months of going back and forth, it's good to see that (Bryson) is finally arriving at a decision, one way or another.

There are incentives for any state to exaggerate an external threat. If people feel insecure and have fear, they want to be protected. Even if you're living under wretched conditions, you think it is better than the alternative.

We knew they would come at us aggressively in their full-court press if they got behind. We expected it from the beginning. We said, if we can hold fort at that time, we'd be all right. We didn't do a very good job of it, but what I was proud of my kids of doing, after I called a time out and challenged them a little bit ... they became more aggressive and less hesitant.
