players six three together
I think we had, what, three players who had six hits. You've got to put it together more than that.
affect days doom games given good last looking point team three weak
I would think any team at this point in time, given where we are, would be pretty weak if they let these games affect them. Because we're still there. We can make up for these last three days if we play well on the road. I'm positive, man. I feel good about my guys. No doom and gloom. We're looking forward.
good three
Just wanted him to concentrate on his three innings. It was just good to see him out there.
chart depth four guys knock might socks step three
We've got three or four guys on the depth chart who might step up and knock my socks off.
three
We'll get two out of three and go on the road,
satisfied three
We'll get two out of three and be satisfied with that.
possible satisfied three win
We'd like to win all the time, but it's not possible all the time. We'll get the two out of the three and be satisfied and go on the road.
chart depth four guys knock might rotation socks step three
No, not necessarily. You might look at our rotation and say he's pretty much in there, but I'm never going to say that because you don't know. We have three or four guys in the back of the depth chart that might step up and knock my socks off. He has to compete.
continue forward francisco looking next playing road san three trip
It's only three games. But, I'm looking forward to our next road trip (San Diego, San Francisco and Atlanta). We're playing well and we have to continue to do that.
games
I think we should be 10 games over really.
love manager mind
I think any manager in his right mind would love to have a Pedro Martinez.
arizona carry city coming good great mean nice pitching runs thinking
Just because you have a nice feel coming into a city doesn't mean you're going to carry it over. I wasn't thinking just because we scored a lot of runs in Arizona that we were going to come here and do the same thing necessarily. We got after it pretty good there. But that's a great hitters' ballpark, a different pitching staff.
beat managers mean rarely talk tight trying
Just because we're tight doesn't mean we talk all the time, especially when you're trying to beat each other. Very rarely do the managers talk to each other after the game.
attack fastball good pitches saw sneaky
I saw him on TV. He's got a good curve, a sneaky fastball and he pitches inside. I was impressed. But we're going to attack him. You don't give him too much respect. He's a young player, and you've got to attack him. You don't let him get too comfortable.
