My anxiety is over. The Guru has cut away my bonds, and I have found eternal peace. Whatever shall be, shall be in the end; so where can pain and pleasure be seen?
befriend mentally mind people polite pure strong whose
One, whose mind is stable, pure and chaste is strong mentally as well as morally. Therefore, one should only befriend such people who are kind-hearted, polite and virtuous.
divine doubt guru opened service
The Divine Guru has opened his eyes. Doubt has been dispelled; my service has been successful.
anxious eager watch
BE eager to confer consolation and courage; be anxious to be of help. Watch for the chance.
anxiety conquered conquering guru hand hunger perfect placed thirst totally
My hunger has departed, my thirst has totally departed, and all my anxiety is forgotten. The Perfect Guru has placed His Hand upon my forehead; conquering my mind, I have conquered the whole world.

The One Lord and Master dwells in the home; He is seen in the wilderness as well. I have become fearless; the Saint has removed my doubts.

The beggar begs for Your Name, O Lord and Master; God is contained deep within the nucleus of each and every heart. Slave Nanak has entered His Sanctuary; no one returns from Him empty-handed.
arranging earn hard household man necessary problem running wealth work
A man should work hard to earn wealth so that he does not have any problem in arranging things necessary for running household successfully.
compassion foolish love shape
It is foolish to try to shape the World; shape yourself as the embodiment of Peace, Love and Reverence. Then you will see all as Love, Compassion and Humility.
clothes death fold friend halo kindly merciless takes
Death is not the merciless that he is made out to be; he is the friend and companion, the teacher, the kindly kinsman, who takes you into his fold and clothes you with the halo of remembrance.
divine five shall teeth twelve
The five divine regions, the twelve divine seasons, the teeth of the year, they shall ever be propitious, to us!
affection aim full gather highest love selfish tolerate win
You win My love in full measure. Love is My highest Miracle. Love can make you gather the affection of all mankind. Love will not tolerate any selfish aim or approach, Love is God. Live in Love. Then all is right; all can be well.
