break hair pair shall stones turn wears
Turn him into a eunuch that wears his hair dressed, and into one that wears a hood! Then Indra with a pair of stones shall break his testicles both!
care protect
You are my Advisor; You are always with me. You preserve, protect and care for me.
death evil hand lead
To death do I hand them over, with the fetters of death they have been bound. To the evil messengers of death do I lead them captive.
provider souls virtuous
You are strong! You are the provider of joy! Go to the sages and their sons!Live at the place of virtuous souls to become well-cultured !
agreeable bend bring lord mind side thou thy towards turn
Bring hither by thy shouts, O lord of wealth, the suitor, bend his mind towards her; turn thou the right side of every agreeable suitor towards (her)!
bestows bold delights gambler game hand heaps loves player proper skilled spare strong verily
Even the strong hand the bold player conquers, as the skilled gambler heaps up his winnings at the proper time. Upon him that loves the game (the god), and does not spare his money, (the game, the god) verily bestows the delights of wealth.
actions engage growth lead national ourselves
Even now we should engage ourselves in such actions that lead to national development, growth and progress.
injury slip vigilant
Be vigilant about words. Slip while walking, the injury can be repaired; but slip with talking, the injury is irreparable.
dwell mind name within
Be kind to Nanak, O God; let the Lord's Name dwell within my mind and body.
becomes lord sanctuary seek treasure
When selfishness is gone, then one becomes the Lord Himself; seek the Sanctuary of the treasure of mercy.
against conscience fill living love unwilling warn
Fill the World with Love. Love will warn you against advising another to do something which you are unwilling to do; your conscience will tell you that you are living in a lie!
against brother cause fight medicine mother shall shy sister thee thy unto
Fight shy of the medicine which thy mother and thy father, thy sister and thy brother let out against thee, I shall cause thee to live unto old age!
according depends divine happens
Every thing depends on the will of Providence; it all happens according to the Divine Plan.
acquire act authority desire earn engage fame himself man maximum noblest order realize social
Every man should first desire to acquire maximum knowledge, to engage himself in the noblest of deeds, earn social respect, success, fame and prosperity, authority and then act accordingly in order to realize them.
