Be convinced of one Truth about Me; Swami will never lay his hand on a task without proper reason and without some profound effect that will flow there from.
chant path terrifying
Chant the Lord's Name; O my friend, chant it. Hereafter, the path is terrifying and treacherous.
dishonor disturb embraced excite forehead honor lord love misfortune placed wealth
Honor and dishonor are the same to me; I have placed my forehead upon the Guru's Feet. Wealth does not excite me, and misfortune does not disturb me; I have embraced love for my Lord and Master.
became beings bring encompass higher surely
He surely did bring hither all the beings (worlds), he surely did encompass all the beings (worlds). Being their father, he became their son; there is, verily, no other force, higher than he.
anger free indignant negative qualities
Get free from negative qualities like violence, anger and hatred.We should never be indignant and resentful.
engage good inspire thoughts
Good thoughts inspire us to engage in good actions.
alone created himself knows lord says
He alone knows His actions; He created this creation. Says Nanak, the Lord Himself is the Doer.
alone exists
He alone exists hereafter; this place is in His Power.
empty fill gifts hands shall
But I tell you; Come to Me with empty hands. I shall fill your hands with gifts and Grace. If your hands are full, what am I to fill them with?
clever deluded learned
I am not a learned Pandit, I am not clever or wise. I do not wander; I am not deluded by doubt.
beloved fall night
Come to me, O my Beloved Lord. Night and day, with each and every breath, I think of You. O Saints, give Him this message; I fall at Your Feet. Without You, how can I be saved?
among beat carry courage failure lack thy
Carry with thy voice, O drum, lack of heart, and failure of courage among the enemies! Disagreement, dismay, and fright, do we place into the enemies, beat them down, O drum!

Go wherever your mind desires...go to the land you wish.
