But, obviously, I don't think that had much to do with it. It's motivation. I'm just going to do what I got to do on the court and let my game speak for itself.
It's frustrating. We could have put that game away had we come with the energy we started the game with. It's up to every individual to come mentally prepared and ready to play. If that doesn't happen, we're not going to win.
The whole game was frustrating for me, ... It was an ugly game, but it was a 'W.' Guys stepped up and hit big shots. ... I tried to be a nuisance on defense. I felt like it was an opportunity to go after it (against Crawford), especially down the stretch. I knew he wasn't passing, so I took a gamble.
I'm definitely going to get back. I don't care if it's three games left, four games left, as long as I get back to my full capacity. I think it's in my best interest and my team's best interest that I get healthy and really let the ankle rest.
It's all a part of stepping up. It was great tonight that everybody pulled their weight. I always have the utmost confidence in my teammates.
If you don't outwork your opponent, you're not going to win. And tonight, we got outworked, we got bullied, we got pushed, and we didn't push back until it was too late.
He made a good move, but I made a few good ones myself.
But you live and you learn and that's the whole thing,
I missed (playing). As for suspensions, I'll never get suspended again.
She don't understand -- I'm in grind mode, ... It's what I do in the summer. I grind. I hustle. I don't have time to get no haircut.
I think the defensive energy was there, it's just we got our hand caught in the cookie jar.
I Like Chris Paul a lot. He was one of my favorite players when I watched him at Wake Forest. I used to talk about him a lot. I like what he's doing with that team. I like the way he's running the (pick and roll) and adjusting to the whole NBA system. He's definitely, if he continues to work, is going to be a great guard, an All-Star in this league.
Breakfast would be, like, egg whites with tomatoes, turkey sausage and feta cheese. Then for lunch I'd have salmon and spinach or something like that.
I just feel bad because maybe I rushed myself back a little bit too soon. It's been frustrating for me with my ankle and all that. I'm just not myself.
