underestimate
We did not underestimate what we could do,
fighting winning games
We hadn't lost morale. But when you fight for four quarters, it's tough to always bounce back. The offense kept us in the game the last two weeks and to get out with a win feels really good.
team hard-work player
Everybody has a role on the team, and some have a role as a scout team player. They have to emulate the offenses that we are going to face. Those players still have to go through the out-of-season work and they work hard.
guy months technique
We had some guys that abandoned their technique and abandoned some of the things that we just worked a month on,
motivation thinking games
We certainly haven't used that as a motivation, ... The games themselves and the time that they've put in in preparation for these games is motivation enough. I don't think that has anything to do with it at all.
games sparks momentum
We always talk about being a spark and swinging the momentum of the game and that swung it.
backs games running win
When we win big games, our running backs play well.
gone kick maybe middle might pinned
If that onside kick hadn't pinned them back there, ... and maybe if they were out in the middle of the field, they might have gone for it on fourth-and-1.
depth hopefully kurt
Hopefully we can get Kurt back this week, and get a little more depth there.
caught foot playing
He was really playing well and was cranked for this game. He got his foot caught in the turf.
gives
He gives us a lot of versatility. He's not a decoy.
exactly great guys kick
He made a great kick - that's exactly what you want and we had our guys sprinting after it.
decisions department difficult early issues middle million small start title
When he was here, this was small time. We had to go through some very, very difficult times early on. When I first started, the department was over $2 million in debt, there was no one in the (football) stadium, we had issues with Title IX. We had to start from scratch, and there were some very difficult decisions made. Joel was in the middle of that.
appears players system understand week
What I see is a system that's being implemented and every week it appears that players understand it a little more and they play a little faster,
