Barry Lee Alvarezis a former American football coach who is currently the athletic director at the University of Wisconsin–Madison. He served as the head football coach at Wisconsin for 16 seasons, from 1990 to 2005, compiling a career college football record of 118–73–4. A lot of it has to do with that. Guys put a lot into the past two weeks. We tried to address that all week. But our guys played two four-quarter games and put a lot into it. Sometimes you can only go to the well so often, to ask guys to strain. I just thought we'd play better. But you have games like this.
