except heck help kenny respect swings takes team whatever
I respect the heck out of Kenny because he swings for the fences. He will do whatever it takes to help his team win, except cheat.
difficult family knows prayers time whatever
He knows whatever time he needs, he should take. Our prayers are with him. His family is going through a very difficult time right now.
pressure whatever
I don't know how much more pressure there can be. Whatever it's going to be, it'll be.
ask coaching corners count discuss help joe possibilities provide staff sure whatever work yankees york
I can't count how many times Bernie has said the following: I will do whatever the New York Yankees ask me to do to try and help us win. So if Joe Torre and our coaching staff feel that work on the corners is something that will provide more flexibility and more playing-time possibilities for him, then I'm sure they'll discuss that with him.
clearly endeavors fits ideas individual potential rather simple simplify thinking time trade whatever
It's just as simple as that, ... Any time that individual has to take their time away from those endeavors - if they're working on potential trade ideas or things of that nature, or thinking about the coaches, whatever the ideas may be - that's how we're going to simplify it. It fits rather well together, and that's clearly what we all want.
anybody calling desperate liked looking
I was calling around looking for anybody who was available. I was desperate for pitching, and he was available. There wasn't anything about him we particularly liked other than that we could get him.
hear needed
I think Carl needed to say that more than I needed to hear it.

It happened there. Right now, he's OK to stay out there and try and help the U.S. team obviously in a limited way now.
extra move satisfied spend today wisely
We'll try to take that extra million-one and spend it wisely in the free-agent market. I'm satisfied that the move we made today is the right move for us.
liked number
We've liked him for a number of years.
areas embrace guys learned pieces spend thrive time trying upgrade waste
We've learned over time that when you have pieces that are working here in New York, don't waste your time trying to upgrade something that works, ... Spend your time working on areas that need to be addressed. We're going to embrace the guys we know can thrive in this environment.
fit interest johnny perfect
Johnny was a perfect fit for us. We had a big-time interest in him.
available baseball guys hit joe last maybe remember time
Maybe it'll help, ... We've done it in the past. I don't remember the last time we did it, but he's available if guys want to hit off him. It's up to Joe and Donnie.
changed
The only thing that's changed is it's getting better.
