controlled definitely game penalty turned
That turned the game definitely in our favor. When we got a 4-minute penalty after that, I think we controlled the game pretty good.
december definitely four games good half improve night olympic ourselves pushing road schedule second slow tougher trying
Obviously, it's going to get tougher, I think, in the second half because of the schedule and the Olympics. So, I think, right now, we're making the most of a good schedule for our team. I think we have only four road games in this month, and then December is tougher for us. But definitely after the Olympic break, we have a tougher schedule. But the way we're going now, I don't think we should slow down and we just have to keep pushing ourselves every night and keep trying to improve to be better.
confidence great playing
Ray's been playing great for us and we have a lot of confidence in him.
coach create knows
The coach knows we can create things and we did.
goal good prepare season stanley teams
That's our goal, no question. We prepare every season like that. We know it's going to be hard. There's a lot of good teams out there, but our goal has been, from the beginning, to be there challenging for the Stanley Cup.
confidence great job lacking missing night playing start struggling sure team
Right now, I think we're playing a team that's struggling and lacking confidence big time, and missing some guys. With the start we got it kind of made them feel like it was going to be a long night and we made sure we didn't let up on anything. We did a great job all night.
agreement bargaining believe collective everybody good job man move support sure ted wants
I'm sure everybody is going to support Ted Saskin because he is the right man for the job. He did a good job for us in the collective bargaining agreement negotiations and I believe everybody wants to move forward.
bad felt good start super team win
I told myself not to try to think about it too much. I felt not bad actually, not super but pretty good overall. It was a good win especially because we wanted to get off to a good start and this is a team we should beat.
guys ice nice
A lot of guys got a lot of ice time. It was nice to see everyone play hard. This was a big win.
mistakes
I don't know if (the Bolts) wanted it more. We just made too many mistakes and we know we've got to play better as a team.
close game tie
If you play well, you make your own luck. Obviously, it was close for them to tie the game up, but overall, I thought we were the better team.
brings energy enjoys fun guy loves practicing
He loves the game. He loves practicing and he's a fun guy to be around. He brings a lot of energy when he comes to the rink. You can see that he enjoys it.
conference playoffs
This conference playoffs is going to be very tough.
cup dream experience great nice since stanley winning won
It was a great experience and it was the first big thing I'd won since juniors. But I dream of winning the Stanley Cup in Ottawa. And that's what I was thinking. It was nice to win at home, but it wasn't the one I want.
