bit energy funk throughout top
I think we had more energy than them throughout the night, ... I think they're in a bit of a funk now. But I think once they get going, they're going to be one of the top teams.
happen pressure takes
He can make things happen from nothing and from nowhere. He takes pressure off guys.
guys instead league mindset playing rewarded sitting
I think it's a different mindset this year. You see how the guys are doing it and you see the possibilities. And you're playing more offensively, so I think the mindset is a lot different in the league right now, too. I think you're getting rewarded for going on the offense, instead of sitting back.
laid
(St. Louis) just laid down. (But) I shouldn't have done it.
looks shape stronger
He is in much better shape overall. He's a lot stronger ... he looks good.
flat third
It's disappointing to see how flat we were in the third period,' said Julien.
chasing good
That's the way it is in this building. They're a good team. If you're not 100% ready, they'll have you chasing the puck. That's what happened.
halfway
I don't know if it's a milestone or not but it's halfway to 500 so I'm getting there.
faster looks
He looks a lot faster and a lot more confident,
learned salt
A lot of us learned from Salt Lake, and we learned that if you're not ready, anything can happen.
handled showcase trying
They're just trying to showcase themselves. I thought we handled it well.
fools gave good lost maybe penalties position touched
Once we killed off my penalties, that gave us a lot of momentum. It's something I shouldn't have done, but I had such good position on St. Louis, there's no way I touched him. Maybe it's not the referee's fault, (St. Louis) dives and fools the referee. We were getting a lot of penalties and I just lost it.
camp heard hockey last
I think I'd never heard of him before camp this year, really, because there wasn't any (NHL) hockey last year.
business glad last learned locked move nobody proud side three time tough work year
I learned a lot in the last three years ... especially about the business side of hockey. I'm proud of the work I've done and I was glad to be involved. But I just think it's time for me to move on. This was a tough three years ... especially last year because nobody wanted to be locked out.
