Elwyn Brooks "E. B." White was an American writer. He was a contributor to The New Yorker magazine and a co-author of the English language style guide The Elements of Style, which is commonly known as "Strunk & White". He also wrote books for children, including Stuart Little, Charlotte's Web, and The Trumpet of the Swan. It's easier to work when you know why you're working,
It wasn't due to the request by the county commissioners or because of some of the dirty looks, ... It was the compassionate appeal by Mr. (William) O'Pharrow and Mr. (Anthony) Northern and (the Rev. David Williams) that changed my mind.
