four last seen
It's been happening, I've seen it for four years. It may be louder. It's not a whole lot more than the last four years.
barry four good innings outfield supposed trip
Barry was supposed to go four at-bats, but we had some long innings at night. I just didn't think one more at-bat or one trip to the outfield was going to do that much. He got a good workout.
along four runs three trouble
That's always been the thing about him. He'd go along fine, and then he'd get into trouble and give up three or four runs and not get out of it.
balls four hard hit
I think we hit about four balls hard today, or was it three?
eighth fourth last until wait year
There were many times last year that I had to wait until the eighth inning to get him that fourth at-bat and get him out of the game.
excited gives great guys teammates watching
It's a big difference. It gives me a lot of confidence. The guys feel great about having him back. The new guys are excited about being his teammates and watching him hit.

I've got to say that was one of the worst innings I've ever seen since I put on a uniform.
bonds closer playing talking team
Closer to our ?A' team will be playing tomorrow. You're talking about Bonds and (Steve) Finley and (Mark) Sweeney.
bases believe capable great guy hide hitting home judged left question reach runs since speed steal talent

He doesn't have the speed anymore. I believe that when we reach back, we are going to hide all that talent that started when he was a kid. Because there's no question about it, this guy's been great since he was a kid.
david moves
Howard is impressive. He moves well around the bag. He's a David Ortiz-type man.
happens occasion pitcher rare
It happens -- but it's a rare occasion for a pitcher of that stature.
glad pitching shot
I'm glad for Tyler. He's in the big leagues. He's getting a shot at pitching more innings.
cold hope took
He's fine. I took him out in hope that he'll be OK tomorrow. It was cold out here.
attached five forget form gets gives guy last pitches ron three thrown
(Bench coach) Ron Wotus gives me all the pitches each guy has thrown over the last five days, ... We have a form attached to the lineup card. ... There have been some times a guy gets up even two or three times and doesn't get in the game. We don't forget about that.
