Gregory Jack "Greg" Biffleis an American professional stock car racing driver. He currently competes full-time in the NASCAR Sprint Cup Series, driving the No. 16 Ford Fusion for Roush Fenway Racing. After racing in the NASCAR Winter Heat Series in the mid-90s, he was recommended to Jack Roush by former announcer Benny Parsons. They tell me it's my imagination and that there was nothing wrong with (the tires), so I decided to run a couple of laps and I should have trusted my first instinct and pitted.

I don't really want to win races like that. That doesn't take a whole bunch of talent to knock a guy out of the way. Racing tight is one thing, but to get a run in the middle of the corner and get the guy's bumper all at once - it is what it is.

He just ran into the back of me and turned me into the fence. It's a little bit of a give-and-take game out there. If you get a run on somebody down the straightaway, you can't just run into the back of them because you are faster than them.

There at the end, we were running down the 21 (Jeff Burton) and the 60 (Edwards). We passed the 39 (Newman) and were closing in on them pretty good. I felt like I would probably get to the 21 before the end of the race. I don't think I could get to the 60, but then the caution came out.

There have been a few exceptions and they got into really good rides, but if you're gonna bring a guy in that's not gonna be in a premier ride with a premier team, he's gonna fail. . . . You can't put a new driver and a new team together. It's just not gonna work.

You know what, our whole team feels really, really good about last week -- like we won almost. Spirits are high because the fact is that we have good race cars and we're running very well. That's the key.

Well, it's really important. We wanted to win here tonight, but Kyle got a great restart there. Congratulations to Kyle Busch and that whole Hendrick team. Those guys have been coming on a win for a long time and it's exciting for your first win. It was just a great job by the guys in the pits. We put spring rubbers in and adjusted the heck out of that race car tonight - from tight to loose to just can't drive it. Our thoughts and prayers are with everybody in the gulf coast and all the National Guard folks down there helping everybody. I know there were a lot of soldiers called to duty to go down there and we're just thinking about all of them.
