evaluate guys time
I'm going to play guys and see what we have. What better time to evaluate your guys?
beat caliber ignore people
I think that's where people really started to take notice. To beat those caliber of teams, you can't ignore that.
aware coach nobody train
Nobody can train you or make you aware what it's going to be like to coach in New York.
bottom eventually five guys happy line nine rotation
The bottom line is we don't have a rotation, we don't know who can play. So it's going to take time. Eventually we're going to have an eight- or nine-man rotation and we'll probably have nine happy guys and five that are unhappy.
broken hate hope stays terrific wonderful work
I think he'd a wonderful player. I hope they can work it out where he stays there. That's a terrific team. I hate to see that broken up.
blessed coach coaches happens happier help people players position privilege taught
You don't get to the position I've been able to get to without a lot of help from other people. I've been blessed with the players I've had the privilege to coach and the coaches who taught me, I know when something happens for me those people are happier than me.
bench floor huge meant players win
It was a huge win for us because there haven't been a lot of opportunities for us to smile. I could see from our bench and the players out on the floor that it meant a lot to them.
five lost month national playing remember straight won
I remember when I was at Kansas, we lost five straight games. I told the team, 'We're playing great,' and we won the national championship a month later.
basketball care cares far georgia good tech tendency year
I don't think that's too far off base. Is this about basketball or life? If we do the right things and show improvement, I think those things have a tendency to take care of themselves. He only went to Georgia Tech for a year and that's an engineering school. . . . I think he cares about us winning, so that's a good thing.
days four
He told me he was stiff, he said go to Jamal (Crawford). I've said the same thing for four days now.
beginning committed determine extra good guts guys hustle maybe
A lot of what you just said is going to determine who's going to play. The guys that are committed to hustle back, make the extra pass, take the good shot, are probably the ones who are going to be out there in the guts of the game, or maybe at the beginning of the game.
fight horrified
I'd have been horrified if we didn't fight back.
blessed truly
You're not always blessed with a roster that's what you truly wanted,
coach run
I can't coach anymore. I want to run a team.
