beat coaches college game special wonderful
He beat me in my first college game and made me feel good. He was a pretty special man. He was always wonderful to me. He's what all coaches should be about.
brought people
They had a lot of people who brought it.
expect fair highlight point
He's not a point guard, ... Right now, he's a highlight film. And it's not fair to him right now. We didn't expect him to have to be our point guard.
address sure
If it was a big thing for him, I'm sure he would address that.
fought fourth guys hard positive
In the fourth quarter, we were phenomenal. It would've been a crime, as hard as our guys fought back, not to have anything positive to show for it.
basketball good guys help
He's a good basketball player. He's going to help our young guys just with his presence.
record
In this league, you look at the record and to have a record like us you have to look at the coach.
chemistry gets mean means potential talent
Talent doesn't mean anything. Chemistry means everything. Potential gets you beat.
figured proud quality team
I'm just proud of them because that's a quality team and we managed to survive, and then we figured out a way to win.
coach gone people proud sorry
I was sorry that the crowd, some of the people booed him, that's never what any coach would like to see happen. I want to coach him and I want to make him better and I don't want him to have to go through what he's gone through. I really was proud of the way he acted.
coaching happens hope improves
If something happens and it improves our team, it happens. If something doesn't happen you've got to keep coaching and hope you coach them better.
hard instead please trying
He's trying so hard to please me, instead of just playing,
biggest easier experience growing kids mind somebody
My biggest thing is these young kids need some experience on the perimeter. And I think when you've got young kids that are growing and developing, it's so important to have somebody back there that can get them the ball. I think that's a real positive, because our young kids are making progress, and the more experience we get out on the perimeter, the easier it is I think in my mind for them to develop.
five good last learn minutes points seem teaching
I was concerned. We made those last five minutes seem like a year. But there were a lot of good teaching points in that. We had breakdowns but managed to get a win. We can learn from it.
