flow good playing potential
I think we're better than we're playing. What that potential is, I don't know. I think our receivers are good enough. We're not playing as well as we can and I think we've got to give them more opportunities to get them in the flow and get them playing better.
shown
He has shown me a lot. He's going to be an outstanding player.
corner expect good great player talented
Devin's going to be a great player for us and I just haven't been around a corner more talented than Devin Hester. And we expect him to be a really great corner. But again, he's been there one year. And let's understand, Marcus Maxey is very talented. He's an awfully good player or he wouldn't be there.
coaches expectation players satisfied season
But our coaches and players were not satisfied with the season by any means. That's the expectation we have.
college given high lose start starting
In college football, to be where we want to be you can't lose a game. Even sometimes when you don't lose a game, if you don't start at the right place you still don't get there. Starting high has been given more significance now than it ever has.
asset best football freeman team tremendous
He's a winner. He's a competitor. And again, it's just a tremendous asset we have on our football team. ... What's best for this football team is for Kirby Freeman to be a part of it.
advantages catch game good people plan players proper schemes stay understand
You can't stay the same. You stay the same and people catch up. They understand your schemes and they game plan for those things and it makes it very difficult. We have good players, but we also have to give those players advantages with proper match-ups.
advantage great painful players tremendous university win
Having these players come back is a tremendous advantage because they know what it's all about. They know how painful it is to lose. They know how great it is to win at the University of Miami.
decision performance personally tough university
For me, personally and professionally, it was a very tough decision. But it's a decision that had to be made. Our performance has not been up to expectations at the University of Miami.
campus players totally
Players get to come on your campus for what is essentially an unofficial visit. There's no pressure. They get to look around, totally relaxed.
schedule
It is what it is. Again, it's not my preference, but we take the schedule as it comes.
middle weakness
Sometimes it comes to you, and sometimes it doesn't. But I don't think there's a weakness at middle linebacker.
kelly relationship
Kelly is so good, so unselfish, ... and that has been very, very encouraging to see the relationship that those two have.
andrew both definitely expect experience guard help rotation
I think (Tella) can help us, just from his experience. He definitely can help us out. I expect Andrew to be in the rotation also. Andrew is smart, he can play both guard positions.
