gravitate players receptive special start
The players have been really receptive to the new coaches, and there's some special things they're being taught. Once they know they're going to get better, they start to gravitate to it.
ohio starting tougher
Who's starting tougher than us? ... You don't see Ohio State-Michigan or Oklahoma-Texas start the season.
enthusiasm great guys running start teaching
First day, a lot of enthusiasm, guys running around and having a lot of fun. And enthusiasm with the coaches. There's a lot of teaching going on. A great start today.
florida ready starting state talent time
They're starting to play with a lot of confidence. I think we have enough talent there to be good. Are we ready for Florida State? No. But we don't play Florida State right away, so we have a little time and we need a little time.
excellent good protection saw starting
The protection was excellent and I saw some good things. Things are starting to come around the way we want to see them.
checked excited players practice start time
Our players have checked in, and we start practice tomorrow. We're very excited about it, but more important, the players are excited. ... Now it's time for practice. It's time for football.
college given high lose start starting
In college football, to be where we want to be you can't lose a game. Even sometimes when you don't lose a game, if you don't start at the right place you still don't get there. Starting high has been given more significance now than it ever has.
tight turn
I thought they were going to turn me into a tight end,
hurt last played since tight turn week
I thought they were going to turn me into a tight end. I can't wait. Shoot, I was hurt the first week of camp. I haven't really played since last spring.
flow good playing potential
I think we're better than we're playing. What that potential is, I don't know. I think our receivers are good enough. We're not playing as well as we can and I think we've got to give them more opportunities to get them in the flow and get them playing better.
good great guy seen stepped
I think we're going to be good at that position. But to say anybody's really stepped up and made us say, 'This guy is a great player,' I really haven't seen that, no.
business fly less obvious radar stellar win
I think it's pretty obvious that you can't have less than a stellar day and win on Saturday. When you fly under the radar a bit, you go about your business and do your work.
answered defense pressure questions
I think we answered a lot of questions about our quarterback. Their defense put a lot of pressure on him, but he never rattled.
bit chip last losing time virginia year
I think so. They're very hungry. They're disappointed by that game. Any time you lose, a little like us last year losing to Virginia Tech, we had a little bit of a chip on our shoulder. And I could see that being the same way with LSU.
