blow last minutes suffer
In the last two minutes of the first period, that's as big of a blow that you can suffer when you are in your building.
last played rookie trying
I was trying to get him the last goal. Why not? He's a rookie that's played very well for us, an important piece.
adversity battle cards dealt last message tough until
They just never quit. They battle through adversity. The message is when you're dealt tough cards you give it your all and you go until the last whistle.
guys heads held last points proud
Our guys have done an unbelievable job. To get 16 of our last 18 points is something to be proud of. Their heads should be held high.
bit feeling gonna last pain soon whatever
As soon as that last little bit of pain or whatever he's feeling leaves, he's gonna play.
change contact doctors feels last wants week
He's doing better. He's on his way back to Buffalo, and he feels better. We had contact with him yesterday, and he wants to see our doctors to see when he can get back skating. That's a big change from last week where he wasn't doing so well.
apology call distinct five guy judge kicked kicking lasted league reviews seconds sure took type understand video
It's a distinct kicking motion. It was kicked in, and I'm sure we'll get an apology from the league on it. We've had reviews that lasted five minutes. That took two seconds and the guy kicked it in? Come on, I don't understand how a video judge here can make that type of call when it's that distinct.
chances gotten guys last liability punishing purpose scoring served
I thought we got what we needed. We've gotten scoring chances out of them, they haven't been a liability when they've been on the ice, and they've had some punishing hits. Those guys have really served their purpose the last two games.
against almost asked case chose few games happened hold instead last league level near occasions past players playing point practicing seen several staying
I've asked him on several occasions to go and play, more for just staying ready. Instead of practicing here, go play. But that's happened in the past where players have chose not to go. I don't hold that against them. They almost feel that practicing at this level is better than playing at the American League level. I've seen a few American League games and it isn't near what it was last year. So there may be a case in point for that.
four great last minutes played rookie third trying
I was trying to get him the last one, and why not? He's a rookie who's played very well for us. He'd only played about four minutes going into the third period, so it was great to see him get it.
lifts psyche
I think it would've been a very big disappointment if we didn't win. You don't know what (a loss) would've done to the psyche of a young team. But to win, that lifts everybody.
until
He just doesn't feel right. Until we get him through that, he won't be skating.
contact mean program resume severe time week
He's been put on the concussion program again, but the first one was so severe I think the program may go longer. There's no set time on when he can be back or when he can even resume practice. Symptom-free for a week doesn't necessarily mean he can have contact again. That could take weeks.
bite chance
I thought that chance was going to come back to bite us, but it didn't.
