caught everybody good knows team totally turned weird
I was totally caught off guard. I was very surprised. It's good. He knows everybody on team and everybody is comfortable with him. It's weird how it turned out, but I think everybody's happy. It's good to have Mach.
amazing drop electric good knows run seen sit stuff throwing tough
He has electric stuff. Having electric stuff is one thing, but he knows how to use it. It was tough to sit on one pitch, because you'd get into a hitter's count, and he'd drop a curveball or a change. And he's throwing fastballs 97, 98, 99 with pretty amazing run to it. That's as good a stuff as we've seen all year.
both change guess knows
Really? Can that even happen? Wow. Obviously, that's surprising, but it's nice, it's great. I think everyone is comfortable with Macha, everyone knows what to expect. I guess (Macha and Beane) both had a change of heart.
knows pitch quit
You never quit playing. But he's been around a long time, and he knows how to pitch with a lead.
anybody ball defensive definitely gets guys knows pick pitchers seven smart walk
He's definitely not going to walk anybody and he knows what he's doing. It was the same old stuff. He gets you to get yourself out. He's smart out there. He makes you put the ball in play where seven guys are there to pick it up. As a defensive player, you like pitchers like that.
enjoy everybody knew last relaxing year
Last year at this time, I didn't know what would happen. I knew I had to show everybody what I could do. It was a long process. This was a much more relaxing winter. I was able to enjoy myself a lot more.
almost positive surprised
I was almost positive it would be a one-year deal, so I was a little surprised yesterday. I'm happy.
teams
Sure, we had a lot of injuries. But a lot of teams have injuries. We can't use it as an excuse.
ballpark good liked lose ourselves pitchers position three threw tough win
Sure, we'd have liked to win all three. But it's a tough ballpark to play in. They threw three good pitchers at us. We still find ourselves in a good position. You don't want to lose a series. But the position we're in, we're OK.
biggest downfall pop second twice
That was my biggest downfall as a hitter. I'd pop up to second at least twice a game.
bat felt good head
It felt good to get the head of the bat on the ball. That whole inning was good.
barcelona both conditions encouraged engine excellent extremely final prepare races results testing three week
We have made the most of the excellent testing conditions here in Barcelona to prepare for the final three races this year. We have been extremely encouraged by the results this week for both chassis and engine developments.
ball catch guys rhythm trying
We're two guys without any rhythm trying to catch the ball and do what we can.
coming until
With all we've been through this year, there's no way we're going to give up. Until they say we're done, we're going to keep coming out to try to make it interesting.
