That was fun n a little sloppy at times, but some of the most exciting plays I've seen all year. Coach Fox promised, by the end of the week, 'We'll put a smile on your face.' All the Seattle guys were smiling.

My dad has this beautiful spirit of being able to create no matter where he is. He's always been so selfless with our family. It's hard to put words to it. He's an incredible man.

I think from the time I was a kid I've been an entertainer. I've always had the ability to play characters. When I came to California, I was overwhelmed that you could do this and get paid for it, make a living on it, and be creative within this art form.

I didn't have any reason to be mad at him. I just apologized. I messed up. I'd be mad if was him, too. So I hope everything is OK.

Things like this just wear you out. It's frustrating because every two months we seem to have a scandal around here, and then the people involved decide they won't talk to the media. That leaves the rest of us, who aren't involved, to have to answer for them publicly, and it's not a whole lot of fun. But, hey, some guys are just selfish. They don't think about anybody else.

Sometimes it does me good to look back at the days when the living wasn't so good. I remember in 1945 the dressing-rooms were gone, the park was in ruins, no stand, nothing.

They came out pretty hot and we came out a little flat. The biggest turning point in the game for us was when our point guard fouled out in the third quarter.

I thought it was an in-between call. He's a light kid (5-7, 178) and I thought he went down a little too easy.

It would be nice to start next season. But I can only control what I can do and that's continue to work hard. I have to let everything else fall into place.

It's that time of year. Unless you are set and everybody else knows you're set, it's a different time. The biggest thing is to focus in on the only thing you can control -- that's what you bring every day and what you bring to the field.

At some point you run into issues of space. Let's say we offer preschool to all 3-year-olds, can we come up with three, four, five classrooms?

I very likely would not be in this position had I not been working with her and had her support. Same thing with my family. They were all able to enjoy this whole experience with me.

I was really worried because I knew they played a lot of games in the 30s and with us, we weren't really scoring and that really isn't our game, a low-production game. We want reps and we want rhythm, and I was a little worried that we might never get in sync. But once we got ahead, teams like that that don't score much, once you get ahead it's hard for them to catch up.
