anyone certainly league played position
I don't know if there is anyone in the American League who has played the position better than Jeremy. He certainly has played well for us.
against batting considered happen intrigued managing realm since talk unless
I've always been intrigued by Ichiro batting third. I was when I was managing against him, and I have been since I've been his manager. It's not out of the realm of possibility that it could happen (someday). There's nothing like that being considered now. And there won't be, unless I talk to Ichiro first. And that's not on the calendar.
bat chair easy glass swing tea watch
Give me an easy chair and a glass of tea and I can watch him swing the bat all day long.
mountain
Let's not make a mountain out of a molehill. He'll be back tomorrow.
ball hit wrong
The ball was hit well, just to the wrong place.
ball base coming everybody guys jobs putting scoring supposed
Everyone is doing what they're supposed to do. Guys around our big guys are getting on base and into scoring position, and our big guys are putting the ball in play and coming through. Everybody is doing their jobs offensively.
badly ball hit miss spots
Obviously, we didn't hit our spots today. When you miss as badly as we missed, you see what can happen. We just couldn't get the ball where wanted to.
felt pulled
He said it felt like a cramp. If I was to guess, I'd say he pulled a hamstring.
runs score
He pitched an outstanding game. We just couldn't score enough runs for him to win.
middle pitch ryan threw waist
The first two innings, every pitch Ryan threw was down the middle and waist high.
earlier fly march starts tournament
The tournament there starts March 3, which is earlier than it starts here. It wouldn't make much sense for him to fly here, then fly back.
blessed cursed entire expect face fact meet realize walks
I think every day he walks out and you look at his face you realize you expect too much out of him because he's only 19 years old. He's going to be cursed and blessed his entire career. There are going to be big expectations for him. He's blessed in the fact that he probably can meet those expectations more times than not. It's kind of a double-edged sword.
discussion happened limiting saw
There was no discussion of limiting his innings. And you saw what happened to him.
bases chance polished scoring worse
There's nothing worse than loading the bases and scoring one run. Jose is still not a polished player, but he has a chance to become one.
