We seemed to start clicking pretty well when we made that move.
chances generate step three tonight took
We need to generate a little more something. Tonight they took it to us. We've got three more chances to do something to them, and we need to step up to do it.
bit command needs pitches
We need to see a little bit better command of his pitches. He's been up in the zone. He needs to get all his pitches low.
fortunate game ground lose three
We were fortunate to lose two out of three and not lose any ground . . . (Monday) is the most important game we will play this year.
adhere baseball call classic yankee
While the World Baseball Classic is going on, we do not have to adhere to that. We'll call it the Yankee rule. They never did adhere to it, anyway.
although guys hard might pitch roger runs scoring shame trouble trying
We've had trouble scoring runs this season, period. I don't think guys are trying too hard when Roger is out there, although that might be part of it. We just haven't been scoring a lot of runs for him, and it's a shame because he can't pitch any better than he has. He has just been unbelievable.

We've had trouble scoring runs this season, period, ... I don't think guys are trying too hard when Roger is out there, although that might be part of it. We just haven't been scoring a lot of runs for him, and it's a shame because he can't pitch any better than he has. He has just been unbelievable.
control good problems
We've had problems with the Cardinals, no question. We've just got to buckle down now and play some good ball. We're still in control of our destiny.
ends
Well, if it ends like it did, ... that would be fine.
evaluate gives good
We are going to evaluate him. He may be back a day or two after that as a pinch-hitter. He still gives you good at-bats.
both fine
Both of them pitched well. Both of them did a fine job.
ball blown both brad couple gets given lead location though throwing wants
Both will get on track. Even though Brad has given up the lead and blown a couple of saves, I think he's throwing the ball pretty well. When he gets his location where he wants it to be, he's going to be fine.
brad fantastic good notice
Brad had a fantastic year. He was just outstanding. When you don't notice the catcher, that's when he's having a good year. He didn't let anything get by him.
absolutely control dominated large stepped took
Boy, he just stepped up large for us and just took control of the ballgame, just absolutely dominated the game.
