best fans goal includes losers though winners
Even though we didn't get the one big goal that we wanted, there are no losers here. We are all winners ? and that includes the best fans in America.
bench best extra guys help sharp step
Extra guys have to be sharp, too. Biggio's our best player, and that's why he's out there. But you still have to have your bench guys sharp enough to help you when you need them to step up and come up with a hit.
ahead good next point tying
The good point is that we got the tying run, and then we go right ahead with the next one,
good guys knew mind people thrown
Biggio made his mind up. He knew what he wanted to do. Most guys get thrown out if people make good throws, and they made two.
broke care good job kept saying worry
Astacio did a good job today. A real good job today. Astacio kept them down and he kept us in the ballgame, and then we broke it open. ... We've been saying it all along, if we take care of business, we don't have to worry about the other teams.
move situation
Tonight, we had a double-play situation and made the move right there.
bottom closed excitement generate line noise open percent played somebody strange
We've played with it closed most of the year, I want to say about 85 percent of the time, ... I find it strange that somebody would say we have to open it now. But bottom line is, I think that with it closed, it does generate a lot of noise and it's a lot of fun. We play for that excitement and that noise.
bottom closed excitement generate helps noise open played somebody strange
We've played with it closed most of the year. I find it strange that somebody would say we have to have it open now, ... Bottom line, it does generate a lot of noise and it's a lot of fun. We play for that excitement and noise. It helps us a little bit.
last needs planning stay
We're planning on him being able to play. If he needs to stay in Houston, that will be his last off day.
against ball bat care decent few good job pitches swinging team threw
We just had a lot of Dontrelle Willis tonight, more than I'd care to see, ... Brandon (Backe) threw the ball well. He had a lot of good pitches and only a few mistakes. That was a decent job against a team that is really swinging the bat well.
care
We just had a lot of Dontrelle Willis tonight, more than I'd care to see.
against bottom good job line missed pitches pitching zone
We missed some pitches that we should have hit, and we expanded the (strike) zone sometimes when we probably shouldn't have. But the bottom line is they did a pretty good job of pitching against us.
expect follow game medical orders plan position
We will follow the doctor's orders. Every day, we'll have a game plan that is a medical game plan for him so that we don't expect something from him or put him in a position that he shouldn't be in. We will follow the doctor's orders on this medical rehab, and then we'll see where he goes.
We're not 100%, but we're back. It's a boost.
