ball bottom certainly figure good zone
It's certainly unusual. But how do you figure something like that? He pitched a good game. He located the ball very well at the bottom of the zone and when you do that, you're going to have success.
again certainly chance reached score
It's certainly reached a frustrating point, ... He pitched so well again today. We only had one chance to score a run, but we couldn't do it. It's been frustrating. It's reached a very frustrating level.
again great guy man missed super threw
I told Bruntlett he missed the cutoff man again tonight, ... But that's because he threw it so fast, the cutoff guy couldn't get there in time. He made a great play. He made a super play.
bats good happen night pitch roy swinging
They were swinging the bats pretty good and it didn't look like things were going to happen with a big night offensively. So Roy had to pitch well, and he did. So did Brad.
backing control front good jimmy office relationship time together
They'll let Jimmy control the clubhouse, and he'll get the backing from the front office because of his good relationship with Dombrowski from their time together with the Marlins.
coming games good job ours runs somehow time trait typical
It's just something that's been a trait of ours all year, but we managed to win. It's like some of our typical games and somehow we managed to get through it. We didn't eke one out this time and that's unfortunate because we had been doing a pretty good job of coming up with runs somehow.
gave seemed trouble
It wasn't too pretty. We were in trouble the whole night, it seemed like. We couldn't find the plate. When we did we gave up some hits.
night trouble

carried century reporters russian symbol
It was carried in the 13th and 14th century by the highest-ranking Russian generals. It's a symbol of power. I'm going to use this on reporters and players.
balls fond fun ground last talk
It was a lot of fun and we had a lot of talk about it last winter, but it's over with. We had fond memories, but they have nothing to do with this year. We're going to take our ground balls and do our fundamental just like we always do.
although bothering leg seen strike
It was rare, ... We've not seen that from him really all year. He couldn't find (the strike zone), and I think the leg had something to do with it, although he said it really wasn't bothering him. He never did get comfortable from what I could see.
leg seen
It was rare. We have not seen that from him really all year. Tonight, he just never did get it. I think the leg did have something to do with it. He said it was OK.
best bounce clearly club cut last took work year
It's one ballgame. This is a best out of seven. Last year we took it to the limit, but clearly we'll have our work cut out for us. This club bounces back and we'll bounce back.
