fine great hear himself job naturally pitchers rocket roy winner wonderful
He's a second-time 20-game winner and you don't hear much about it. Roy himself is not a self-promoter. He's very laid-back. He's very comfortable being in the back room. You have great personalities like the Rocket (Roger Clemens) and (Andy) Pettitte, who have done some wonderful things, so I think (the attention) naturally gravitates in their direction. But Roy has done a fine job for us and he's going to go down as one of the great pitchers in this decade.
ballgame chance couple crossed drive hitters squeeze win
The thought of a squeeze crossed my mind, but you think he's one our better hitters and you want him to have a chance to win the ballgame and drive in a couple of runs.
baggy came hung physically roy tough win
That was a big ballgame. Roy (Oswalt) hung tough for us, and Baggy came up real big. Emotionally and physically to give us a win like that, that was really good.
card chris winning
Chris Burke is still winning the card game,
anticipate ball beat bit burst call doubt exciting feet game hits incredible last realize rookie season seeing seven six thrown tired umpire win year
If he hits a ball hard, you can get him out. If he hits it soft, he'll beat it out every time. He has an incredible burst the last 15 feet or so. There have been six or seven times this season when an umpire will anticipate a little bit and call him out and then realize that he was safe. I got thrown out of a game or two because I got tired of seeing that. I don't know if he's going to win the rookie of the year or not, but there is no doubt he's an exciting player.
ours though trait win year
It's been a trait of ours all year and we managed to win even though we hadn't done that,
difficult games rest win year
I think it's going to be difficult because (Clemens) will probably win the rest of the games this year (and) that's going to tighten it up,
andy demeanor face happy talking tough win
He personifies what we've been talking about, with determination, guts, the will to win and the tough part. When you look at Andy or talk to him, he's got such a happy face and such a happy demeanor it belies how tough he is.
fine likes win wish
He pitched very well. We couldn't get that win for him. I wish we could have. I don't think he located as well as he likes to locate, but still he managed to do a fine job.
happened hear roy somebody winner
He's a second-time, 20-game winner and you don't hear much about it. If it happened with somebody else, it would be all over the place, but Roy is not a self-promoter.
ball games hot last time unless week win
You don't want everyone hot all at the same time unless it's the last week of the season. You need to be able to win ball games without everyone being hot.
brought guess somebody today win
I guess somebody brought it up today -- if you don't win today's game, it's probably over.
drive good needed runs win
(Sheets) was good but we have to win these games. We just didn't drive in the runs when we needed them.
