coming easy fastball felt free good hand jumping location threw
His location is not there, obviously, as his fastball was jumping all over. But the ball was coming out of his hand good, he threw free and easy and felt no pain, so that's a good thing.
gets good handled himself knows lazy sloppy talked
He gets a little lazy at times on the drills. But he knows what he's doing on the mound. He's a good fielder; he just gets a little sloppy at times. We talked to him about that. He's handled himself very well.
fall handled himself suddenly
He's handled himself pretty well. I don't think he's going to just suddenly fall apart.
apologetic cared growing handle happy process situations understood
He was apologetic and that's all that I cared about. He understood that you have to handle situations a little better, and that's part of the growing up process too. I'm happy with it. I feel better about the whole situation. That's really all that matters.
avenues bench good handle hitter jobs knows leagues sit three unless week
You can't be a good hitter off the bench unless you get some at-bats. You can't just sit there and get one at-bat a week or one at-bat every three days. He's been on a lot of different avenues in the big leagues and done a lot of different jobs with a lot of different teams, and he knows how to handle himself.
base good handled himself hot personally playing third
I personally think he handles himself good when he's out there. He's a little more relaxed. Third base is a hot spot. He handled it fine, he did fine, but I think he handles playing out there a lot better.
choked nice
That one kind of choked me up. I thought that was a pretty nice thing by big Buck.
arguing ball catch great job looked pitcher pitchers start turned wood
Their pitcher was aware. Wood did a great job there. Most pitchers would catch the ball and start arguing with the umpire. He was very aware. He turned around looked home. He did a great job on that play.
boring common tells
It's a boring kind of thing, really. I think common sense pretty much tells you where it is.
wanting
I can't see Rad not wanting to go out there.
terry throw
Terry doesn't throw out 'very good' very often.
face help learn people serious understand wants
This is serious, very serious, and a lot of people are going to learn from this. We're going to help him get through this thing and make him understand how serious this is. He wants to face the penalty, and that's the right thing to do.
classy help presence ready takes whatever
A presence like his can only help. He's a pretty classy man. He told me he's ready to do whatever it takes to help. If I need him to help some young kids, he'll do that.
hearts prayers situation tough
Our hearts and our prayers are all with Puck. We know its a tough situation out there.
