bases days few outfield playing proves run starts
Once he starts playing the outfield and proves to us that he can run the bases and play the outfield a few days in a row, then we'll see where he's at.
baker base breaking came chance fastball finally gave good great high innings runs score
Baker was fantastic. He used his breaking ball, his changeup and had the high fastball working. He located pretty good. He gave us a great chance to win. It's unfortunate we couldn't score enough runs for him. Rincon came in and had two good innings for us, got out of the one, which was huge. Then we finally come up with the big base hit.
ginger leave options runs spring until
I still think he runs a little ginger at times. But he's doing everything he has to do. I'm never going to say never until we get down to the end of spring training. I think you just leave your options open.
balls home hurt last needed ourselves pitching runs strong throwing type
Last season, we hurt ourselves on the relays throwing home and balls getting through the infield. We just can't give away runs with this pitching staff. It's too good. So we needed that type of strong defense.
balls fall fine hits hopefully last lucky past quite run wherever year
Lew is fine wherever you put him. He's going to play like Lew, he's going to hustle, run balls out and hopefully some of his balls will fall in. Last year he wasn't as lucky as he had been the year before. A lot of times hits will go down to being lucky, and this past year he wasn't quite as lucky.
baseball busted everybody game great guarantee running tail
He always busted his tail off and had a great thing to say to everybody in the clubhouse. I can guarantee you all this, as long as I'm running this baseball team, we will play the game with respect, run the ball out and give you a show, because that is what Kirby would want us to do.
knee outfield run
He's going to run around in the outfield and see if his knee swells up. So we're guarded. I'm just in a wait-and-see to see how he does.
beat hit legs running
It was a hit in the gap, so it wasn't like he had to beat a play to home, but he was running good. His legs feel good.
baseball game running
As long as I'm running this baseball team, we will play this game with respect.
beat heck last night running tough
He had a heck of a night last night. He was running around pretty good. This turf can beat you up, as we know. It's better than the old turf, but it's still tough on your legs.
ball run
You don't run that ball out, you have to come out of the ballgame.
drive home learn pitch runs
Home runs are going to come. He'll learn to take a pitch and drive it out of the ballpark. We don't really need to tell him what to do.
guy road runs struggled thirteen
I think the correlation that, 'Well, we really struggled on the road without this guy and that guy' ? that's so sad. We scored how many runs in Toronto? Thirteen runs? What, was (Oliva) on the phone?
runs
Offensively, we didn't do too much. But we scored the runs when we had to.
