It hadn't looked good, even in the summer and in August with the scrimmage. We just weren't getting them where they needed to be; they weren't running with a lot of authority.
It had a nice thud in the back of the net. But to tell you the truth, I didn't know it went in until the ref stepped in and signaled it with his hand.
