We've gotten such nice feedback about the festival - some of it from professional playwrights, talking about how well respected it is.
We've got some good players and we do some good things out there, but it's just a matter of (we) keep shooting ourselves in the foot and it's got everybody frustrated.
We've got people here who have a talent for preserving and interpreting history and an audience who wants to learn about it. And the key is to match them up. We've gotten a tremendous response from the small schools. Those communities are tight-knit, where the school is the core of the community, and where they maybe don't have access to the larger curriculum of other schools.
We've got our videos of Wasps in place for a detailed scrutiny but when it comes to a personal assessment I know Frank has recent first-hand experience so I dare say a call will go in,
We've had incredible support from sponsors and competitors alike, they come from as far away as Ottawa to participate. Every year the show gets bigger and better and this year was no exception. We had 81 entries this year. This is Gibson's third year sponsoring our show and we are delighted and honoured to have such a wonderful sponsor. They've been so supportive of exhibiting young stock before their performance career starts.
We've had cameras before, but this is three cameras in one and as cutting edge as you can get. It will give us as much as a month's worth of video images. It has superior day-night technology, pan-tilt and zoom capability and will give us an extremely high-quality image.
We've had Boy Scout projects to clean up that bike lane many times. The street is barely wide enough for cars.
We've made a number of releases on the subject, and if it happens again, how we react will be another thing. If it's still going on at grounds, then we're going to be very disappointed and unhappy about it. But since Sydney we haven't had too many problems on the field, so we'll take each game as it goes.
We've made a lot of lineup moves since then, they've made a lot of changes since then. We've been scoring a few runs since then, hopefully that will continue.
We've lost two 1-0 games and another one 2-1. We're right there in every game; we've just got to get over that hump.
We've lost our real, out-and-out strike bowler but then again, it's an opportunity for someone else to take their chance. We'll look at the wicket in Sydney and decide - we've been calm on tour so far and we'll continue to be.
We've lost nothing, by the grace... But we've still got large areas that we're busy extinguishing. We're slowly winning the battle.
We've lost buildings in the past and people lament them. Those who care and do nothing better prepare for a gut-wrenching experience when this building is coming down.
We've learnt that being first is not necessarily best.
