anyone nice panic point rush
We got off to a nice start, so I don't want to rush anyone back. I'm not one to panic at this point in the season.
fight hang heads
We always fight back. We've been that way the whole year. We don't hang our heads about anything; we try to get back in it as much as we can.
expect goes
You don't know what to expect when someone goes through something like that,
miss
We're going to miss (Mark) Mulder, ... That's good, I guess, huh?
bottom hard learning line process winning
We're just going through the process of learning how to play winning baseball. The bottom line is that we're learning the hard way.
indoors work
We want to just take him slow, that's all. Pedro does a lot of his work indoors anyway.
yankees red comparison
There's no comparison to me. There's nothing like Yankees- Red Sox to me.
good playing
We've got to play them anyway. As long as we're playing well, then it's a good thing.
coming days gloom good
We're right where we want to be, ... I'm positive, man. I feel good about my guys. No gloom and doom. ... Big 10 days coming up. I feel fine.
playing until
We're going to keep playing until the end,
deal injuries permission personal
There are personal things you have to deal with and he had permission to do that. I don't have the details. It wasn't anything to do with doctors, injuries or his toe.
anyone becoming david great pitchers question surprise
There is little question about David becoming a great player. But it will be interesting to see how he adjusts this year. He won't be a surprise to anyone anymore. The pitchers know about him, and they will make adjustments. I want to see how he adjusts.
days gives multiple nice pitch stretch
We probably could use another arm. We have a long stretch of days where we don't have any off days. It's nice to have a lefty, and he also can pitch multiple innings. He gives you a lot of options.
played rather
We played well enough to win. I'd rather win, but you can't be disappointed.
