bowl fact game reward scout team
I like the fact that we can go to a bowl game and reward them (the scout team players) as well as the starters.
contested guys liked needed tail tough week
I liked the way the guys played. They were where they needed to be. They contested throws. They responded to a tough week and that's what I like to see. They didn't go into the tank. They didn't put their tail between their legs. They responded.
chance cherish great guess hit water win
I guess when the water hit me at the end, it kind of sunk in, that's it. Get a chance to cherish a great win with a lot of friends and great players, that's special. I couldn't think of a better way to go out.
difficult hard pressure quick scheme shotgun
But he's in the shotgun and a lot of it is quick releases. A lot of it is sprint-outs, where it's hard to get to him anyhow. They've devised a scheme where it's difficult to really pressure him. You're not going to get many sacks.
brad building coach happy helped innovative program proud
I'm very proud and happy that Brad has this opportunity. He is an innovative coach and really helped in the building of our program at Wisconsin.
front game goal late line matter pulled seen sees somebody three year
I haven't seen any frustration, I really haven't. I pulled him over late in the (Indiana) game and told him to just keep going because I think it's just a matter of time. There have been probably three (runs) this year where he sees nothing but goal line in front of him, and somebody dives and just nips his toes. But he'll get some of those before the year is over.
seen
I haven't seen any frustration. I really haven't,
communication decision relationship rely senior staff trust type voice whatever
He's someone that I could rely on. I told senior staff and everyone else, if I wasn't there, whatever Jamie's decision was, Jamie's voice was my voice and that's the type of communication and relationship and trust that I had in him.
sure
I don't know if I'd do anything over. I'm sure I've made mistakes, but nothing that we haven't been able to overcome.
generous slide strong tight
I let him slide on that one; I was very generous today. In a tight ballgame, we would have had a very strong conversation.

higher priority
I have one other priority that sits a little higher than replacing Jamie,
adding bright brings join knows native thrilled
I'm thrilled to be adding Shawn to our administrative team. He brings a lot to the table. ... Being a native of Wisconsin, he knows our state. We are getting a very well-rounded and bright person to join our staff.

He agreed with my assessment. So we'll get a late flag.
