amazed few hurt lack people
I'm just amazed at how few people shopped, ... The lack of big discounts hurt retailers.
bury cases certainly chose dropped heads rapidly running slash time video window
If I were Firestone I would certainly slash my prices. I think the time window is rapidly running out on Firestone. I would have dropped the video in the very beginning, but in some cases they chose to bury their heads in the sand.
anger higher level
I think 10 years ago if this would have happened, there would have been a much higher level of aggravation, anger and frustration in the marketplace.
biggest border complaints-and-complaining hear high hotel issue price rates retailers single word

clearance consumers great january love proved
Consumers love January because January has always been this great clearance month. If they don't see (sales), as they've proved this Christmas, they'll outwait the retailer.
consumers home others reality retail sofa stores
Consumers look around and see (the Home store's) $1,299 sofa and see others for $699 or $799 at other stores and it's a reality check. I find after the hoopla is over, they become retail museums.
believe cat closer consumers deals early game happen last lots outlast playing retailers waiting willing
Consumers believe that the bigger, better deals happen closer to Christmas, and they're willing to wait. Last year, lots of consumers were disappointed because they didn't see the early discounts. Shoppers are playing a game of cat and mouse, and they're waiting to see if the retailers will outlast them.
