I haven't heard anything that says it's serious and I haven't heard anything that says it wasn't.

I think we're in pretty good shape catching-wise in the organization. Sandy has done as good or better than we could have hoped for. Rod is having a solid year. It creates a lot of good options for us.

Mark is going to attack anything he can to get better.

I would say there were some unknowns about him. I've been pleased with the progress he's made.

He's a young pitcher. He's going to have hiccups, but stuff-wise he has been very impressive. He's going to give up some hits here. I bet he walks somebody and I bet he strikes somebody out.
eddie fun handled outing thomas
I thought Josh, Eddie and Thomas handled their first outing well. It was fun to watch.
ball bat centers great kevin power seeing starting strong swing
Kevin had a great spring. He started off slow, having a nagging injury, but he is starting to swing the bat well. He is seeing the ball well and centers the ball so well. Kevin is so strong that the ball has a lot of carry. He can just power the ball out of here.
rethink
He has said he's comfortable being a reliever. I've told him he may want to rethink that.
needs throwing
It's just when he swings. Defense, throwing and running, there's no problems. He needs at-bats.
figure last medical reports season
Last season he had a lot of swelling, but there isn't any of that this time. We're going to have to see the medical reports and then figure out where we go from there.
velocity worth
His velocity was down, and it wasn't worth the risk.

Edison and Juan both struggled today. We've got some other options besides those guys.
